What does that mean on the road? While both SUVs can seat up to five, the Forester Hybrid offers a more spacious cabin with additional headroom and legroom for front and rear passengers. The Forester Hybrid also provides more cargo space: up to 27.5 cubic feet behind the rear seating. While the Crosstrek Hybrid is no slouch, it only offers 18.6 cubic feet in the same area.

At the same time, the Crosstrek Hybrid's smaller size also helps it to feel more nimble and smooth on the road. The Forester Hybrid might offer more interior space, but you'll feel the difference behind the wheel.

Features & Technology

Both of these Subaru hybrid models deliver impressive connectivity and convenience features. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard features on both SUVs. The Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid does offer a bigger standard 12.3-inch touchscreen, but the Forester Hybrid makes up for it with a more robust sound system, including access to an optional 11-speaker Harman/Kardon surround sound stereo.
