Legacy Engine Options and Capability
The standard powertrain setup for the 2025 Subaru Legacy is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine good for 182 horsepower and paired with the standard CVT for maximum efficiency. The Sport and Touring XT models at the top of the lineup will get the turbocharged 2.4-liter with 260 horsepower.
