McCurley Subaru of Yakima Donates $19,270 to
The Memorial Foundation Through Subaru's Share the Love Event
Yakima, WA - McCurley Subaru of Yakima proudly presented a $19,270 donation to The Memorial Foundation today as part of Subaru of America's annual Share the Love® Event. This significant gift supports health and wellness programs in the Yakima Valley, with a strong focus on pediatric care, including the local NICU, Pediatrics, and Children's Village.
The check presentation was held at 2:00 p.m. at 20 Adelyn Way in Union Gap, with representatives from The Memorial Foundation, hospital staff, and Subaru leadership in attendance.
"This donation represents more than just numbers," said the General Manager of McCurley Subaru of Yakima. "It reflects every customer who chose to drive home in a Subaru this past holiday season, and every service visit that helped contribute to our community's health."
Subaru of America donates $250 for every new Subaru sold or leased during the Share the Love Event. To increase local impact, McCurley Subaru of Yakima added $75 per vehicle and $5 for every service completed during the campaign period. The dealership has proudly selected The Memorial Foundation as its Hometown Charity for five consecutive years.
Funds from this year's campaign directly support Children's Miracle Network programs at MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital, with a strong emphasis on the NICU - which provides life-saving care to more than 250 infants annually across Central Washington. In 2024, the Pediatrics Department saw 1,155 children, and Children's Village provided care to over 12,160 children, reinforcing the breadth of this support.
"This partnership with Subaru and The Memorial Foundation ensures families from Ephrata to Goldendale can access essential medical care close to home," said a representative from The Memorial Foundation. "Every dollar stays here, in Yakima, improving lives."
